finally have the heart to post about SMP... never knew it was so important to me until after the Youth Science Conference... I wasted my COJ preparation time, I wasted my PLTC preparation time... and all i end up is participation. argh!!!! i even wasted my time travelling to NUS!!!
I'm going to join it next year if fate allows me to join again.. I WOULD NOT DO THE SAME MISTAKES I MADE THIS YEAR! all my mistaken choices that I had made all snowballed into a major mistake...
haha i know my blogskin is ugly... but i dont have the time to change it until... after exams probably? so you guys have to bear with that weird banner of mine :D

well... you know... sometimes things just happen when one person is too rude or maybe because they are nutcases... or maybe they have too much freedom of speech and they really have to exploit it somewhere you know... not in their own country of course... they rather do it on the internet and vent their anger on other ppl. what's more? what are the chances that they are Americans? what are the chances they are from Arizona, Phoenix? the probability is so much lower right? no wonder so many conflicts happen in the world.. cos JOE is too impolite, vulgar, with no political sense to actually improve their country's image.
you know why? cos not everyone blogging is an social media nutcase, and you just happen to bump into an expert.... what's more? a person who keep track of the news? a history student who actually studied your country? BINGO
hello. i thought i had the most heartwarming scence today at the number 12 bus stop in front of the kindergarten :D there's this little boy and his maid who was talking to his mother through the phone when the mom is at the opposite site of the road. and when the maid finished talking to her ma'am she actually told the boy to wave at his mother and both mother and son exchange their waves across the roads :D hahaha so cute

hello! today the lift got stucked at lvl 9 and i climbed up all the way to lvl 9 to see what happened and how i could actually get it down when i only lived on lvl 4. yea.. that's how considerate i am :D so i climbed all the way up and on my way i see so many buttons which got pressed (they light up) almost one per lvl lol... the lift must have gotten stuck like way long time ago in the day. so when i got up to lvl 9 i was actually quite shocked you see... i dont understand why the lift door cant close and there's this pulley which dropped on the lift's floor -.- and that's the amazing adventure i had today :D

hello!!! today is a bad day... been staring at the IP list again... now i know how i can get blocked in wikipedia in the past... almost everyone have similar or almost similar IP addresses... and today i saw this random IP, a poor, stray and unknown IP. not that its really random... ive checked... it appeared quite some time ago but then i cant link it to anyone... and that IP is definitely not mine cos i took precaution and also because its distinct even when its similar :D
ok... maybe next time i can consider being a mooch-ing catcher after i improve on my IP tracking skills :D

have you ever wondered if you are not you? would you act differently? one thing i know is that if i am not who i am, i would definitely run away from myself... it's not that i dont know who i am.... i know who i am and i cant control myself cos im shaped by the environment, not the shaper... too unpredictable, commands respect, fierce... yea... but one thing i also know that if i'm not myself, i would not be the strong fighter, shrewd mastermind nor have the passion and perserverance to fight till the end...
today went to Nanyang Polytechnic for poster presentation... i think i scared away the judges cos i was agitated by one the judge cos he was accusing us tone. haha of course i passionately defended myself and put up a strong fight all the way :D i hope we get distinction even though other people's project are more interesting and can see they put a lot more effort than us... we even brought most of our reports and even a newspaper article to support our stand... hope we were convincing enough...

i just wanted a plain white-coloured long sleeve blouse... but no matter where i go, the shops only sells those with frills or stripes... I JUST WANTED IT PLAIN!!!
sian... i spent one hour figuring out why on earth one computer can have more than one IP address... and how ppl can share the same IP address... cant they make a more efficient method?
tell me why.. tell me why.. tell me why am i always doing SMP when it's time to revise??? ARGH!!!!

had a wonderful afternoon nap just now... but just as nature calls and i have to go the toilet, and just as my left leg had cramps after sleeping for too long, and just as it reached the floor, and just as i couldn't feel my feet on the ground, and just as... well ok... i almost kissed the ground and i had my right toe bled... i thought i broke my toe cos i wasn't wearing my specs and there's this boo-boo (haha... thanks to the years watching rugrats --meaning an open wound) on it..
im supposed to be doing my poster... but wenqing is not online and im slacking :D not really slacking.. im making a new skin for my blog :D

the correct way of pronouncing my name is ni-ke-lette, like how you would pronounce nicholas. :D
it feels really weird when your monitor screen is wider than the keyboard :D hahaha. my previous monitor is pronounced dead by my family, though i didn't really see it. being dead i mean... or maybe im lucky to resuscitate it for more than 3 days (it has been flickering on and off)
managed to revive ronghui's specs yesterday too :D not that it's alive in the first place hahhaa.
my century egg is still sitting beside my computer... dont know whether its black or just a dirty yellow like what i saw of other people's eggs... it's more than 10 days but im letting it sit longer to make sure its really black :D

hello! today is another new day! went to the dentist today... its like how many years never visit the dentist le :D hahaha cannot blame me, primary school the dentist like went on leave for how many donkey years or something. so i went in and the dentist was cleaning my teeth and stuff keeps flying out hahaha. its either water or my teeth. then i was quite horrified when all the tools used were all metals... not that i dont know they are supposed to be metals, but i just cant imagine metals against calcium carbonate... of course metals will scratch calcium carbonate T.T
ok, so i missed some maths lesson, and in order to reinstate mathematics, i went to count the number of circles on this black rectangular thing on the ceiling just above the chair, yup, and there were 90 dots altogether... not that i bothered to count.. i just multiplied 9 by 10 :D
